Day 7, Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005
Gospel: Lk. 1:46 - 56
"My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord
and my spirit exults in God my Savior;
because he has looked upon his lowly handmaid."
Reflection: It's amazing how God uses seemingly insignificant people to realize his Will. The Magnificat not only reveals Mary's heart: it is exultant praise of God himself, using Mary, his wonderful creation.
Please rejoice now for the Lord calls us in the same way, making our lives most meaningful. Salvation is at hand!
Dear Father Lito,ReplyDelete
God the Most High can do everything.HE created the Universe and HE created mankind.When Adam and Eve fell into original sin,HE continued to reach out to us and Mother Mary is the perfect medium HE used to express to us HIS Divine and unconditional love.Jesus Christ is the perfect gift and HE was delivered to us through Mother Mary,for HE is here to deliver us from our original sin so we could finally get reunited with GOD.That's the essence of Salvation.
But GOD's love though unconditional and divine is free.And unless we open up our hearts to HIM, HE cannot enter into our lives.The only way to feel GOD's presence in our lives and for HIS salvation to be available to us is to let HIM enter into our lives and let HIM lead us the way.If we close our eyes,we cannot see the light.If we close our ears,we cannot hear the truth,If we close our hearts we cannot feel HIS love.We've got to open up ourselves to HIS love and allow HIS power to enter into our lives and that's when we will feel HIS power and presence working through us.Thank you,Father Lito for this reflection.Amen.DEAH
